Helloween

Group Musik Helloween dibentuk oleh Kai Hansen (Vocals/Guitars), Michael Weikath (Guitars), Markus Grosskopf (Bass) dan Ingo Schwichtenberg (Drums) di Hamburgh tahun 1982. Dalam waktu singkat mereka telah mendapatkan kontrak dari Noise Records dan merekam 2 lagu mereka dalam album kompilasi.

Pada tahun 1985, mereka merekam album pertama mereka yang diberi judul HELLOWEEN yang ternyata cukup sukses di pasar. Dengan vokalis baru Michael Kiske yang saat itu baru berusia 18 tahun, mereka merekam album KEEPER OF THE SEVEN KEYS, PART 1 yang menjadikan Helloween grup speed metal Eropa yang disegani.

Sempat berganti-ganti formasi, terakhir Helloween tercatat berformasi Andi Deris, Michael Weikath, Sascha Gerstner, Markus Grosskopf, dan Daniel Löble dan merilis album terakhir mereka GAMBLING WITH THE DEVIL tahun 2007.

Setelah merilis 13 studio album dan berkiprah lebih dari 25 tahun, Helloween memang layak disebut salah satu pionir speed metal.
